'Creative Aggression'

People think of aggression in negative terms, but in fact feeling and expressing anger is a very important aspect of human functioning and if repressed can cause problems. This workshop will explore a range of ways of using aggression creatively, both personally and in a therapeutic context. Exercises for individuals and couples will be demonstrated.

TA Psychotherapy workshop (Transactions)
This workshop will explore Eric Berne's concept of transactions, which are units of social interaction, involving a stimulus and a response. The workshop will describe a wide range of transactions. Participants will explore their own transactional patterns, how to analyse transcations in clinical practice, and how to use transactional analysis in therapeutic work.

TA Psychotherapy workshop (Psychological Games)
This workshop will explore Eric Berne's concept of psychological games, which John James described as the process of doing something with an ulterior motive that is outside of Adult awareness, doesn't become explicit until the participants switch the way they are behaving, and results in everyone feeling confused, misunderstood, and wanting to blame the other person. The workshop will describe a wide range of gamess. Participants will explore their own game patterns, how to analyse games in clinical practice, and how to use transactional analysis in therapeutic work.

Workshops over 3 days: 60 Euros/day

These fees include a mid-day meal, provided free by Joanna and John. For those wishing to stay over night, a fee of 20 Euros per nuit will be charged. Please contact us for further details and to make reservations.
